The School now known as La Grâce de Seigneur Academy was founded more than a decade ago. September 2010 to be precise, at No. 7, Ogo-Oluwa Close, Okunnuga, Offin-Ile, Igbogbo, Ikorodu, Lagos State.
School activities kick-started in an uncompleted building at the time, with merely 3 staff and 21 pupils. We give glory to God that the population of both staff and pupils have continued to increase since the commencement of the school.
The school was formerly known as The Glorious Academy. After a name search in 2015, which prevented the use of its former name. Hence, the need for a name change. That is what gave rise to the current name, La Grâce De Seigneur Academy. The school has gone by that name since the change up until now.
At the end of the 2015 academic session. A new branch for the school was opened at Otugbuwa, also in Offin-Ile. The school's annual Graduation and Valedictory Service was used to commission the opening of the new branch as the event was conducted at the new venue. By the beginning of the 2016 academic session, school activities commenced at the Otugwua branch.
After a decade of focusing on primary school education, the school board deemed it fit to start her secondary school. The 2020 academic session kicked off with the school having a JSS 1 class at the Otugbuwa branch with barely 8 students at the time.
All glory must return to God Almighty, as the school has continued to grow in all ramifications since it opened back in 2010.
